Essie, Ballroom Dancing, Swing, Tango, Schedule Changes and New Classes

Hello and Gainesville Ocala Social Dancers,
Congratulations and a big thank you to Essie Jennings, who taught her last class, at least for now, this week. Essie is moving to North Carolina. We were lucky to have her here and we will miss her. Wish Essie all the best.
Kay teaches Ballroom American Tango this Friday at 308 West. Afterwards you learn Argentine Tango with the UF Tango Club.
Saturday night Tango Pavadita holds their regional milonga at 308 West.
Sunday afternoon is a Ballroom Dance at the Senior Center with Maria Alvarez teaching a Ch Cha lesson and Joe Glover and Mary Reed dancing a short performance. Chad is the DJ.
Sunday evening you can still join the Super Simple Swing 101 series from 6 to 7. From 7 to 8:15 come for Swing for people with some experience and from 8:15 to 9:30 Hustle! Sunday we learn to dance without any pushing or pulling.

Tuesday join Richard for East Coast Swing.
There is no West Coast Swing class this Wednesday at 308 West, but Wednesday classes will resume in March.
Thursday come out at 8 pm to 308 West for Judi Markell's first West Coast Swing class at this new location.
Next Saturday March 3 is the monthly West Coast Swing dance with a workshop with US Open Champion Patti Jobst.

Classes are paid for the first class of the month, and run the first 4 Thursdays of each month.
Judi Markell kicks off her new classes at 308 W University Ave with a bang, by giving you one free lesson! This new ongoing class will normally be $35 for the first four Thursdays of the month, but since March has 5 Thursdays, we are going to throw the 5th Thursday in FREE as a kind of Grand Opening Special.
This is an Intermediate WCS class, so experience with West Coast Swing in needed. Basic 6 and 8 count patterns such as Push Break, Side Passes, and Whips are essential.
