Hello and Gainesville Ocala Social Dancers,

The dance calendar is in full swing. If you live in town, like I do, you can go dancing every night of the week, without having to drive more than 10 minutes.

If you or you know someone that wants to learn a new dance, sign up now for any these new classes I will be teaching starting in the next week or so via Santa Fe College Community Education. See below for details.

Beginning Argentine Tango and Beginning Swing Dancing at Gainesville High School on Thursdays starting January 23. If you sign up for Tango, you can stay for Swing Dancing for free. For any of you Swing or folk dancers, this is a great opportunity for you to get an introduction to the Tango.

Beginning Line Dancing and Beginning Swing Dancing at Hawthorne High School on Tuesdays starting January 28.

Tonight wander over to the Tigert House, 224 NE 10 Avenue for social dancing, a mix of all kinds, for free, bring snacks and music if you like. Patrick Harrigan, kataragama@gmail.com

This Saturday night is the monthly Contra. On Sunday is the Vintage Waltz Brunch and then an afternoon Swing and Sway Dance. Starting Friday night you have 4 dances in 3 days, sweet.

Scottish Dancing has started up at the Tigret house on Tuesdays.

You can join me on Monday nights at 7 pm for Israeli Dancing and Thursdays at noon for Line Dancing.
