Hello and Gainesville Ocala Social Dancers,
Lots of great choices for dancing, both for new and experienced dancers.
First, what is new. Monday evening from 6 to 7 starts a new class Nia Holistic Dance and Fitness with Sarit Sela at 308 West. On Tuesdays is Argentine Tango 101 from 6 to 7:30 at 308 West, a small class with nurturing, personal attention.
Next, my sessions. Sunday come dance with us from 5 to 9:30, four sessions all for a total of $10, or only $7 if you paid for organized dancing somewhere else during the week. From 5 to 6 is Contra 101. From 6 to 7 is Swing 101. From 7 to 9:30 is experienced Swing and Hustle! This last part is informal with a lot of dancing. We take teaching requests and adjust the program to who is there. If there is anything you want to learn, come out and let us know. Generally 7 to 8:30 is Lindy Swing and 8:30 to 9:30 is Hustle! Last week we did Hustle almost the entire time, with a requested Vintage Waltz lesson at the end so people could join the Waltz Brunch. Sometimes we do West Coast Swing to help people get ready for the dances.

Now, upcoming dancing in order by date. This newsletter is out early to remind you of tonight's West Coast Swing dance party at 8 pm at 308 West.
This is the third Thursday of the month, which means you can join Blues dancing at Death Letter Blues. Also Thursday Judi teaches West Coast Swing at 8 pm at 308 West. Ray and Eileen teach their Ballroom speciality class, which I think is Quickstep this month, at By Ear Musician.
Friday both UF Swing and Tango clubs meet at their usual times and places.
Saturday night is the monthly Contra dance at the Boltin Center with a lesson at 7:30 and dancing from 8 to 11.
Sunday is the monthly Waltz Brunch at 308 West from 10:30 to 1:30. Sunday evening starting at 5 is Contra 101, Swing 101, experienced Swing and Hustle!
Monday starts Nia. Also on Monday at 308 West are English Country dancing and Israeli dancing.
Tuesday at 308 West are Argentine Tango 101 and Ballroom dancing with Ray and Eileen. Richard teaches East Coast Swing on Tuesday at the Boltin Center.
Next Wednesday April 25, sadly, but with a joyous celebration, is Essie's last West Coast Swing session. Come out to wish her off well. We will miss her.
